A POST OF THE BARANGAY SECRETARY

Very grateful to all saguntonians all over the globe for their assistance in making our barangay one of the best in sison. Barangay Sagunto is the first in the town of Sison, Pangasinan to have a blog to connect with expats around the world. Thanks to Saguntonian Jmom. I welcome all expats and kabarangayan to comment and suggest ways to make our barangay a better place.

Concreting of the Sitio Macoco Road is ongoing - another project of the honorable mayor

Concreting of the Sitio Pilaoan Road is also in progress - project of the honorable congressman Mark O. Cojuangco

Expansion of the Barangay Main Road is also in progress and is near completion - initiative of the Punong Barangay, Hon. Manuel L. Esteban, Sr., and the Barangay Council. The CVO's are the workers

Hello Mr. Secretary. It was great to visit Barangay Sagunto, albeit a short one. I look forward to reading about all the projects planned by the council, barangay members and other expats who still call Sagunto home.

To The Barangay Council, I would like to suggest that you can include in your agenda in setting a Barangay Day for all Sagunto folks Overseas and the highlight is the ecumenical mass represented by the kabarangayan whose relatives are living or working outside the country, or a prayer rally something like that, as we all know that life outside our country is not that easy as we are all thinking, there are lots of struggles adjustments and hardships too as we always read in the paper and we just thank GOD for annak ti Sagunto are still lucky for their ventures overseas. A love gift is being requested and whatever offering is to be used for the programs and projects of the barangay. I am requesting this not for myself but I can feel that the Community that prays Together for the welfare of everybody God is there. Since this website was started we know that communication is so fast to all concerns. Sir Secretary, am just leaving this humble suggestion to you and whatever ? or clarification just feel free to ask me thru this connection I am available most of the time and ready to answer you in not more than 24 hours. Friends from US and Canada maybe needs receipts for love gifts and donations for tax deductions right Ophelia, jeanette and sherryjo? wen kunayo metten a no wen hahhaa! isu pay!

The concreting of the road to Macoco is now a reality? How great! It's been about 30 plus years now since I first heard of this plan actually, but I thank everyone involved in the project for considering the road top of the agenda today. Now we can travel uphill with ease. The main road has gone through a similar process.I still can remember skidding walking through the unsealed/ dirt road towards Sagunto on rainy days( 1970's) on my way to Artacho Central School. Thanks for the UK Balikbayans for concreting it. I've heard of the gov't improving this main barrio road but lots are still to be done am I right? I'll pray that more and more concerned and unselfish individuals continue these initiatives. Let's go to Macoco!

Me again...Could someone enlighten me what "project of the mayor " means? Would that be personal project from personal coffers or government funds? I'm sorry for being so ignorant. I'm not a politician, hehehe. When do the government taxes come in? How about people's projects? Now I'm lost...I'm sure lots of Balikbayans out there are just waiting to be tapped for help but through what channels and means?
